Given the SCO member countries’ human and various other potentials, these combined resources and militaries would easily dwarf the western political and military supremacy currently formed into a block known as the NATO.
China, with its enormous population and continual growth of economy plus its tremendous technology could serve as the main powerhouse in the SCO. Another member Russia enjoys massive natural resources including oil and gas. Other Central Asian countries also have large reserves of minerals and natural resources.
