It was in that house at Jalan Raja Muda Musa in Kampung Baru that she was taken hostage for five hours by a 34 year old Sabahan, believed to be a drug addict. He died at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital after he was shot by police when they stormed the house to rescue Fifi.
When met at the hospital where she has been warded in the Paediatic ward, the Standard Four student of Sekolah Rendah Kampung Baru was clearly traumatised by the incident.
She is in stable condition but weak.
Fifi recalled how scared she was during the five-hour ordeal.
“I do not want to go back to the house,” she told New Straits Times.
She said however she will try to get over the incident.
Fifi”s mother Santi Ngdiono said it happened at a blink of an eye.
“He came out of nowhere and was chased by the residents before he barged into our house,” she said.
Santi said the suspect initially went for her mother in-law at the front of the house who was selling titbits.
When Santi went in aid of her mother-in-law, the suspect barged into the living room.
When she confronted the suspect, he grabbed Fifi instead.
While the others fled from the house, Santi stayed in the house and pleaded with the suspect but to no avail.
